My name is Mary Wallace, and I would describe myself as deeply rooted in my faith, but constantly on the journey to know more. I am a cradle Catholic who has been on a faith journey since I can remember. In August 2012, I earned a PhD in Human Resource Education and Workforce Development, which means I study the world of work. In particular, my research focuses on how Catholic women use their faith in the leadership at work. At the end of the day, though, I am trying to be the best wife to my husband of 21 years, and mom of 4 daughters (Elizabeth, Emma, Elani, and Elie) – all focusing on our domestic church at home. I also want to continue my understanding of what it means to be a daughter of our amazing God, understanding that it is only through God’s grace and mercy that I can even continue on this journey. I am reminded of St. Augustine’s famous quote: “Our hearts are restless until they rest in You.” Amen.
